33 years of international banking experience with HSBC. Worked in India, Hong Kong, Dubai, Indonesia, UK, Brazil and Malaysia.
Proven track record of leading significant change and transformation projects in HSBC involving design, development, deployment of banking solutions, processes, systems and people change.
Experienced in dealing with senior stakeholders; establishing governance; planning and formulating strategies; negotiating budget allocation and ensuring that these allocations are used appropriately to get the best value for the firm.
Experienced in setting up and leading large teams (~250 in the Resource Practice). Developed an environment where people managers were expected to listen, coach, be advocates of our team, build relationships and provide pastoral care. The Resource Practice was set up to be a place to nurture people and talent, manage welfare and provide a home for fostering a community spirit; offer a structure for career progression through the organisation; manage professional development through training, accreditation, knowledge sharing, talent management, collaboration and career planning.
